Scammer: Rohit Malhotra - Accent Technologies with missing geography knowledge

Recently I got questions about an Italian Telecom inbound process. I have been surprised about this, because the questioners are coming from an area of the world where the country Italy and the language Italian is only as available in the world known.

My first question has been if their center has Italian speaking agents. Their answer surprised me more because they said no it is an English speaking campaign. English speaking in Italy? That could only be a mistake or a SCAM. I have taken a look into the campaign description found at http://accenttechnologies.yolasite.com/resources/Italian_Process.pdf (attached to this article too) and there has been really written at the first page “Italian Telcom Customer care – www.telecomitalia.com – Language Used: English”!!!

Accent TechnologiesAs an Austrian citizen I know Italy very well, because it is a neighbor country. If you are in the Tourist areas, then you have a higher chance to speak with someone by using the German language then by using English. There is even one area in Italy, which is called South Tirol. It has been belonged before the world war to Austria. There you even find more people, which are speaking German. With English you have only a chance in the big and expensive hotels.

Additional is written at the pdf document and at the homepage from Accent Technologies that a price war has happened in 2013. The first price war has happened before the European Union got founded, because the Telecom business has been in Europe a monopoly of the government before. The membership to the European Union reduced dramatically the prices for the telephone minutes. The next price war has started with the upcoming of the Voice over IP services. For this even this information is wrong, because the costs of the phone minutes and contracts have reduced to a level where you nearly get paid for making a phone call instead of paying for the minutes you speak.

If we take a closer look to the offer from Accent Technologies, then we find the following SCAM facts:

  • Accent Technologies is hiding themselves in the anonymity of the internet
  • Accent Technologies even does not have an own homepage. They are using the free hosting service from Yola. It seems that they even not have enough money for registering an own domain.
  • Accent Technologies is spamming the same campaign at LinkedIn for example in the group “BPO/KPO Networking” twice a day with more than 10 of entries (same content) under the username Rohit Malhotra.
  • Rohit Malhotra cannot show his face in his profile.

Slavery offer: Virtual Voice Technologies (VVT) Cruise campaign

Recently I got again a real slavery offer. As the company, which is offering it does not expect to pay something to the center they have even forgotten to add any earnings in their offer. Read first the offer and my explanations afterwards:

Thank you for your interest in the Virtual Voice Technologies (VVT) Cruise campaign where you will have direct access to the cloud VVT system from the Clients servers in Florida, US, this campaign is only available to Pvt. Ltd companies that are registreded with the Minestry.
This is the system and man power requirements to get this campaign for 2 logins per agent, each agent will handle dual systems, minimum 10 agents. NO EXCEPTIONS and you will get 2 free agents login so please use them from day one so you have 12 agents working from start.
It’s important for you to start with all the required emplyees from day one, if not you will not be profitable and you will be terminated right away. we do not accept call center with bad working habits, all required conditions need to be meet from 1st day of dialing such as man power, working hours, working days.
  • 10-12 agents.
  • 20-24 PC’s
  • 20-24 Monitors,
  • 20-24 Mouse
  • 10-12 Split headset (Mobile headset)
  • Min 3Mps up/down
  • TeamViewer installed on 1 PC
  • 2 logins per agent (20-24 total)
  • Logins should be used 9 am – 9 pm Est Mon – Fri and 10 am – 5 pm Est on Saturday.
  • 200+ calls per agent each hour (2,400 in an 12 hour day)
  • Mandatory recordings must be played and the appropriate responses obtained from the customer prior to transferring the call
  • At least 1+ >60 transfers per agent/hour
  • You will need to provide the following items (per agent) on before we can start:  Video Skype, 2 computers (total 20), 2 monitors (total 20), Split Headset, 300k bandwidth (per agent) and Windows XP or newer operating system.

Agreements will be send from end client after there final approval.
Campaign Charges:

  • VoIP, weekly around $300- $375 weekly for unlimited VoIP dialing for 10 agents.
  • VVT Login for 10 agents, 10 x 2 X $10.00 = $250.00 weekly, deducted from commissions.

if you take a look at the world largest cruise ships at Wikipedia then you see that the average capacity of such a cruise ship is around 4000 passengers. 

Why this offer is a slavery offer?

  • Ship cruises are expensive. The last minute discounted prices around US$ 100/night/person. The promoter of such tours have the problem to sell the beds at a normal way. For this they are offering last minute tickets with discounts up to 75%. Think about how many cold calls you have to make

  • You see in their offer, that an agent has to handle two calls at the same time. That means they don't have already enough money to make a lead generation on a normal way.

  • The center has to rent their technology
    Sorry, but if someone likes that you use their technology, than they have to provide it for free and they have to pay for the time the agents get their training!

  • The center has to pay for the VoIP minutes
    Sorry, but for whom they agents are calling? This one, which likes to earn has to pay for the VoIP minutes!
    They even like to reduce their phone bill, because the transferred call will run on the call centers bill!!!

  • An agent has to make 200+ calls each hour
    That are 100 calls per line and hour. In average speaking time (sorry playback time - they like to use Avatar) is 36 seconds for each call. if I get such a call then I'll hang up immediately. With such a system is a sale not possible. In this case we can use speech recognition too and don't need agents for it. The caller cannot say more than Hello, yes and no in this time.

I would not buy or accept such leads. In such a case I can buy phone directory data too! They are even cheaper.

In summary is this offer more worse then a SCAM. The client likes even to earn from the call center!!!

 

Christine Wisner - she tries to explain me that I'm wrong

For the case you did not read the start of the scam, then you should start reading at: Presumptive scammer Christine Wisner to get the content of the full case.

As Christine Wisner has not been reachable by any other possibility, I have sent here at 5pm Philippines time a Skype request. Please observe that she is available at her office from 10am until 6pm Philippines time. She accepted the invitation 7 hours and 20 minutes later (0:30am). Normal people, which are working from 10am until 6pm are already sleeping. Only some times they are up at this time.

It even seems that Christine Wisner is not located at the Philippines, because I think that she even don't know the time here. Nobody will make on Skype a conference after midnight. I think that she is located in the German speaking part of Europe or in the USA. The name Wisner and the name Reinhardt, which she tried to use as a reference in the chat, are German names. Only the first name Wendy is not German. There is one more German sounding name involved: Wendy Fischer. The time she has been online is the normal day time in the USA or the evening in Europe.

Christine Wisner is located in India. Her IP address or the proxy, which she is using, is 103.26.200.188 (March 22, 2015 01:18am GMT). This IP has the following information:

The given phone numbers in her profile seems to be from a free phone forwarding service, which has been running into bankruptcy or got canceled without prior notice, like it is written in the terms and conditions of such services.

With all here argumentation have been about the comment from Willpower Infotech Limited, which are only an unproven comment to the real facts:

  • The phone numbers +63-2-371 1478 (phone) and +63-2-371 1479 (fax), written in her profile, don't exists and there are no phone directory entries for this phone numbers at the Philippines. A company with land lines will be listed in the public phone directory.

  • The companies,written at her profiles, with the name Western Wood Co., Wildwood Co., Westwood Co. and West Wood Pvt. Ltd. are not existing at the Philippines.

  • The different information about her education at her both profiles

  • The same picture, which is only mirrored and has another cut from the same original

Even the given time has passed for sending me some proves about the above facts. The only result has been that she went in Skype from busy to offline.

As I still have the Austrian Timezone installed at my laptop the time is the Austrian one and not the Philippine time. You have to add 7 hours to the written time.

She could even not give any explanation about this facts in the following Skype chat with me (the screen shots of the chat are attached at the end of this article):

Christine Wisner tries to save what can still be saved

For the case you have not read the start of the scam, then you should start reading at: Presumptive scammer Christine Wisner to get the content of the full case.

Christine Wisner even expected, that everybody will be available at 2:35am Philippines time or 0:05am Indian time. Normal people, like me are already sleeping at this time. For this I have seen the conference in the morning after I waked up. Already this shows the egoism from Christine Wisner.

Like every scammer, she thinks that she need to write something and that is the only truth. Any document, which can prove her allegations are still missing or simple not available. As she lies already in her profiles, why should someone believe what she is writing now?

The facts that I see in this discussion is only the fake "Transfer Summary Xoom form". That is proven, because Willpower Infotech Limited submitted it and Christine Wisner ignored it completely. If she did not send it to Willpower Infotech, then she would reject immediately the existence of the document.

For the case that Wendy Fischer and Chad Saddoris are even existing (their messages got sent by Christine Wisner - you can prove it at the Skype screen shots at the end of this article), then it seems to be that they are partner in crime with Christine Wisner. It is really not possible that from 154 transmitted leads is not one valid. The three scammer Christine Wisner, Wendy Fischer and Chad Saddoris are even to lazy to document for each reject the reason.

I'm not involved in this case and for this I see the case different than Christine Wisner. For me is it logical that Christine Wisner is a SCAMMER. She could nothing prove during the full conference. My recommendation is to bring her in front of the law court.

Presumptive scammer Christine Wisner

Yesterday Willpower Infotech Limited contacted me over Skype and he told me that he got scammed from Christine Wisner. He is missing a payment of $15 000 and he cannot contact her. I have tried to contact her by Skype, her phone number +63-2-371 1478 and her fax number +63-2-371 1479. Both numbers are not in service and no reaction on her Skype.

A search at LinkedIn resulted in two profiles for Christine Wisner

A search in the public phone directory about the company West Wood Pvt. Ltd. ended without any result. Even a reverse lookup has not given any result. A company, which is hidden, will not be able to make any business.

A Google search brought only a result of the Indian company West Wood Pvt Ltd, 15 Annamalai Nagar ,Thillai Nagar, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu ( East ) - 620018, which is trading with Plywood, Veneers & Laminates business and has nothing to do with a marketing company.

Each company, which is trading with something and each marketing company, have at least a website and a registered domain. Companies, which are having a land line are normally listed in the public phone directory.

I recommend to everbody to make a background check about your business partner before starting making business. Carry all the facts together and decide about making business on the base of that information what you could get proved. Don't believe only to the words of a salesperson.

Keep copies of all emails, contracts, chats etc. In such a case you will be able to warn others. If you are getting scammed then take the relevant copies and warn others by listing the scammer in all the call center groups and forums. Inform about the scam as much people as possible.
